This young athlete has impressive online presence

The young golfer can count on multiple well-known cheerleaders when she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple courses worldwide and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments recently and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

However she can get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the best player globally," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in women's golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that her participation helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially with youth audiences.

Kai boasts millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle company.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
